Join us for a Tranquil Yoga Experience Amidst Nature’s Beauty!

Step into a serene sanctuary at Alpine Ridge Alpacas for a unique yoga class surrounded by vibrant blooms and peaceful pastures. Our all-levels yoga class will be led by Aarynne Dawson, who will guide you through mindful movements and deep stretches, all set against the backdrop of rolling hills and colourful wildflowers.This Yoga and Alpacas event is special because it conveniently falls on the date of the Autumn Equinox! Clear your energy with intention setting through journaling and sound bowl healing, yoga movement, and then amplify your new intentions with the playful energy of the animals and nature.After finding your zen on the mat, enjoy an exclusive meet-and-greet with our charming alpacas. These friendly, curious creatures will add a touch of warmth and joy to your day as you have the chance to feed, pet, and connect with them in a relaxed and picturesque setting.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Arrival to our Farm

We ask that you arrive on time for your tour. We schedule appointments appropriately; therefore your visit starts at your booking time. We want you to get the most of our time with us.

Upon arrival, please enter our driveway slowly and park in the designated parking area.

After we complete our check-in procedures and review health and safety, our adventure will begin!

What to bring + wear to our farm

  • Due to cross diseases between animal species, we ask that you do not wear footwear or clothing that that were worn at another farm.


In order to have the best possible experience, we recommend that you bring the following items:

  • Appropriate clothing for the weather - we're open rain or shine!
  • Closed-toe shoes (recommended but not necessary) 
  • Hats, sunscreen, and water for warmer weather
  • Toques, mitts or gloves, and snow boots for colder weather
  • Camera or fully-charged smart phone 

Note - we do not currently have a café onsite, so please be sure to eat before you visit the farm!

Washrooms

Unfortunately, due to the size of our septic tank and the volume of visitors, we are unable to offer washroom facilities. Guests can use one of the many public washrooms available in the area before arriving.

Children

We ask that Children refrain from running to avoid frightening the herd.  Children may not climb fences or throw rocks — we want to keep everyone safe, both animals and humans.

Pets

To keep our herd calm and kind, and our working dogs focused, we kindly asking that you leave ALL pets at home.

We do not allow dogs to be left in the vehicle for their safety and for liability reasons.

Herd Temperament

We welcome everyone to enjoy our farm. However, our herd requires guests who are able to maintain a calm and quiet composure at all times. Alpacas are gentle and shy creatures and require individuals to be calm in order to have the best experience. 

Due to the uneven natural terrain of our farm, we do advise that those who are able to walk on uneven and unpaved ground. Please inform us of any restrictions ahead of time so that we can do our best to accommodate.

Prohibited Items

In order to have the best possible experience, the following items are not permitted at our farm:

  • Smoking of any kind - this includes vaping 
  • Gum or any snacks that the animals could try to steal 
  • Hellium balloons or any noise-making products 
  • Pets - while we love animals of all kinds, we wish to keep all animals (yours included) safe and calm at all times.

Cancellation + Refund Policy

In order to create the best experience for our guests and our animals we have limited numbers in each experience. It is very difficult to rebook a last-minute cancellation and so we have instituted a fair cancellation policy that we adhere to.

Customers will receive full credit (less booking system processing fee) in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances that are out of our control.

Cancellations can be made with a full refund or credit 5 days or more prior to the experience (less booking system processing fee)

Cancellations can be made with 50% refund or 50% credit 2-4 days days prior to the experience (less booking system processing fee)

Cancellations within 48 hours of booked experience will not be refunded or credited.

No-shows will not be provided a refund or credit for the experience.
